I saw Dig A Silicon Valley Girl on TechCrunch today and found it too good not to share. I find the unabashed, blatant sexism hilarious and not the least bit surprising. What I do find surprising (pleasantly so) is that there are hot girls, who are actual nerds, working in the valley. I had previously thought, based on my own experiences in the Vancouver tech industry, that hot tech geeks, male or female, were mythical. I guess if they are to exist then the valley is the place to find them, what with the warm temperatures and innovative spirit and all. What is true is that sex sells (just ask iJustine) and the featured ladies will likely see their career stock rise. What is also true is that the guys behind this site are geniuses; sensationalism gets eyes and they surely have the eyes of the industry on them now, at least for a little while.
