eqo communityEQO Community ProblemsSubmitted by chris on December 20, 2006 - 1:47pm.Usually when a user signs up for EQO Mobile they have an account automatically created for them on the EQO Community servers. However, for the past eight days the process that takes care of creating these EQO Community accounts was down, meaning new users were not able to login to the EQO Community. We apologize if you encountered this problem. We've since fixed everything and all users who did not get community accounts before should now have them. Chris EQO Community undergoing maintenance!Submitted by chris on July 11, 2006 - 10:37am.At 5:00PM PST today, July 11th, the EQO Community site will be going down for an hour or two for maintenance. The key change we are making will allow users to login to the EQO Community with their EQO ID and passwords instead of with a separate EQO Community ID and password. We’ve checked and found that many people have EQO accounts that are identical to EQO Community accounts. These people will have their accounts merged and will be able to login with their EQO IDs and passwords. Many users have EQO Community accounts that have no EQO account associated with them. These accounts will be disabled and such users will either have to use their EQO accounts to login or will have to create an EQO account. Posts from deleted accounts will be archived and attributed to the original creator via a small note. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we feel that the changes we are making are necessary and are a step in the right direction. Thank you for your patience. In response to reactions coming from the forum we at EQO have been working hard on new features and support for more phones (EQO for Mac, Motorola, Blackberry, and Palm Treo coming in the next month or two!). We have already added support for many more countries and carriers as per the requests of many. Like I said in my last post, we really pay attention to what is being said in the forums so feel free to give us a piece of your mind. Chris |
