The dome of BC Place, Vancouver's largest stadium at 60000 seats, collapsed(video) just over an hour ago. I'm not sure if this is bad news or hilarious news. No one was hurt and the dome was over 20 years old so I'm leaning towards hilarious. The cause of the collapse was likely today's inclement Vancouver weather, wind and sleet all day. Never fear, I'm sure the dome will be re-erected in time for our CFL Grey Cup Champion BC Lions season to begin this summer. Patrons of the upcoming 2010 Olympics take note, you will have a new dome to sit under!
