Which area/sub-country?
Submitted by alipatov on May 30, 2008 - 5:35am.
Hi, I have a question about supported countries - For instance, it says here that Russia is supported. But what does it mean exactly? Does it mean that everywhere I go in Russia I would always have a local number to call, based on my local number there? Seems hardly possible. Could you list area codes where you have local numbers or callback service? For example, Moscow has 2 area codes 495 and 499 and a dozen of mobile codes like 903 etc. Will EQO recognize that I am on a Moscow mobile and give me a 495 or 499 local number, which is very cheap to call from mobile? Calling another city from a Moscow mobile will be so expensive it will negate the savings Thanks! Trackback URL for this post:http://community.eqo.com/trackback/1378

Hello, Russia is a "call-back" country in the EQO system. This means that when you make a call with EQO in Russia, we will actually call your phone from a Russian number to set up your call. Your outgoing international calls with EQO will actually be incoming local calls. Peter |
