Using local minutes
Submitted by manishgarg on October 9, 2008 - 2:25pm.
I am using EQO to make local calls to land line and mobile phones from my mobile. I have limited voice minutes but unlimited data plan. Is the connectivity over data plan or am I using my phone minutes to make the call? If I am using my voice minutes, I do not understand why I would use EQO, since most plans in US now include nationwide calling. Am I missing something? EQO uses a data connection to set up the call and local minutes for the duration of the call. EQO is intended as an international calling solution, not a local one. Peter |
