You can add IM accounts from the IM tab. Scroll to the right while holding down the alt key to get to the other tabs.

Problem accessing the other EQO components

Hi,

When I hold down the alt button and scroll up and down, it just scrolls through the contact listing. As opposed to cycling between the 3 functions of the EQO. Same as if I didn't have the alt button pressed. I even tried a full Blackberry wipe from the security menu and EQO behaves the exact same way.

Blackberry 8700r running OS 4.2.1.101(Platform 2.3.0.81).

EQO looks like a great service, but this is broken for now, so I can't really use it.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Problem accessing the other EQO components

Hello Sir,

Hmmm, alt and scroll should cycle you to the other tabs in the application. This is surely the case in OS 4.1, but we have not yet tested the 8700 running OS 4.2 because we can't get our hands on it. I will raise this issue with our developers internally. I'm betting this is a bug on our part, but I'll get back to you when I find out.

RE: Problem accessing the other EQO components

I also have the very same problem on an 7130e blackberry.

I hope there is a fix because it seems very limited without getting to the IM

I have the same problem on my blackberry 8700g

What BlackBerry OS are you using?

And holding down ALT and scrolling does nothing?

Here is how it ended up working for me!

What didn't work:
I downloaded EQO software to my laptop and installed it, tried all kinds of key combinations in order to scroll to IM icon with no luck!

What worked:
Using the web browser on my BB 8700r I went to http://m.eqo.com and downloaded the software and replaced the version I had installed using my laptop.

With this new install I also allowed EQO access to my BB info, contacts... (Which I didn't do in the first time)

Maybe the software was updated by the EQO developers team and I got the proper version for my BB.

Anyhow I'm happy I have access to IM

Thanks EQO
