the sony ericsson w880i

hi first time posting :) alex lazy i love the features of this application:) no.1 i just sent a request for a software version for the w880,,as you dont have one yet for it As you may know i recently had a k610 and what i have been discovering is that some applications, games and chat apps still run on the w880 even though they are made for the k610 im also willing to try again the k610i version of eqo and w850(im thinkin also [walkman phone too]) to try its version of eqo and the skype plugins of both the k610 and w850 on the w880i please allow me to test these versions on the w880i and if possible provide me a link to the jar files for these versions of eqo and the skype plugin asap thank you :)

Thank you kindly for your willingness to test, it is much appreciated. The version of EQO Mobile released for the W850 will be the same as for the W880. We will officially be supporting the W880 next week, so please check back with us. You can expect more than just phone support...

great cant wait..well i will wait till next week,,set it as my default phone download it and the skype plugin and ill be on the testing bandwagon :)

What you see next week will be quite different from what you see this week and you may have to re-download, but I applaud your efforts at preparedness and encourage you to play with EQO Mobile now. Please do keep your eye on us next week though, big news coming...

interesting,,
i have an idea what could be going on,but i wont assume yet anything :)
also i installed the w850 and it works great..still gonna test some few things throughout today,BUT i shouldnt really have to worry bout that since it "will be quite different"
well a few more days and next week is here.

Thanks for giving it a shot. The new EQO Mobile hits next week, maybe a little later in the week than you are expecting. I hope you'll give the new one a try.

bookmarking an application on a w850i

this phone does not allow me to select specific application just the folder itself. any incite on a work around?

I am not sure how to do this myself. I will try to track down a W850i and figure it out. In the meantime, you should check the user manual that came with your phone.

justmoe if you mean create a shortcut for the program..its not possible with s/e phones

also is the new eqo working with the sony ericsson w880 and my soon to be new phone sony ericsson w910[well i have a few months before this comes out :) ] peter, anyone ? :)

Hello,

Yeah, justmoe, you can't really create a shortcut for applications with SE phones...the best you can do is create a shortcut to the folder that the app is in (csson...).
