Sony Ericsson P9xx users, share your experience

Today I installed EQO on my handy - P990i. I had no problem with the instalation, the program works just great and currently I can`t find anything to complain for. I had a phone call with a friend from Ukraine. The sound quality was good, we were able to understand each other. My MSN account works as well.

But when I tried to run it on my mother`s phone - P910, it just doesn`t want to connect, any suggestions what can be the problem ?

Glad to hear that EQO is working well for you!

For your mother's phone, how did you download the EQO Mobile application? Did you download from the SMS or transfer it from your computer?

If you transferred it from your computer, you need to make sure to transfer both the .jar and .jad files on to your phone's memory in order for EQO to connect successfully.

If you were able to install EQO successfully, you can try making EQO go offline and then select "Options" -> "Settings" and then make sure that "Use TCP (best) connection" box is NOT selected (no check mark). After that, try connecting to EQO again.

P910 problem

Hi, I got no problems with installation but connection despite TCP is checked or not. Error message Connection "Failure, try again A0002" is all what I get. Please help

Which mobile carrier do you use? You need to make sure that you have your Java settings set to use the right access point for your carrier. Which access point is EQO using on your phone to access the internet?

P910 problems

Now this is a progress. I never could connect EQO before, now with last version I can. Problem is application suddenly is closed with this new message: Monty Thread-22 Reason code Kern-Exec Reason number 3. Believe admins this looks as an application issue not operator. I can use anysoftware in my phone but eqo.

Hello,

We have just fixed the bug that was causing this problem. You will need to uninstall and then redownload a new version of EQO (go to http://get.eqo.com on your mobile phone's browser). You shouldn't see this error anymore!
