Motorola V323i?

Hi all! sorry to bother u with this but i am new to all this and i am not sure if my Motorola V323i is considered a Motorola V3 or V3i? If not then that's alright, but if possible could someone tell me which one of these phones is best to use for EQO the link is http://metropcs.com/phones.php and yes i have MetroPCS. Last question which phone in the link provided is best to use EQO if my Motorola V323i can't be supported? Thanks in advance for any help.

re: Motorola V323i

Hi,

Your phone is completely different from a V3 or a V3i (Motorola's phone naming conventions are pretty lame). So, to answer your first question, your phone is neither of those models, it is a V323i. The reason we don't list your phone(and official support it) is because it is a CDMA phone, for use on CDMA networks. CDMA networks tend to be pretty restrictive when it comes to third-party applications. That said, you may still be able to get EQO on your phone. Send me an email at peter@eqo.com and I will help you out as much as I can.

It's ok i rather not put you

It's ok i rather not put you through all that work so i will just get a updated phone. I been meaning to get a new one anyways, but i need to know which phone on this list is best for the EQO service?

Nokia 2125i
UTStarcom CDM-7025
Motorola W315
Nokia 2865
Kyocera K312
Samsung SCD-a870
Kyocera STROBE
UTStarcom CDM-8932
Motorola L7c SLVR
Motorola V3m RAZR - Silver
Motorola K1m KRZR

re: It's ok

In your case, the problem may not be the handset, but the network provider that you are with. This isn't to say that EQO will not work on a CDMA network--because it does--I don't feel 100% confident recommending you a (CDMA) phone, just in case it doesn't work out!

I do know that the GSM version of the Motorola L7 SLVR works with EQO (as do the RAZR and the KRZR). The Nokia 2865 also works (again, I am talking about the GSM variety).

Again, the biggest problem will be your network, not your phone. I don't mind helping you out if want to try EQO on any of these phones...but I can't guarantee success either!

Let me know what you decide.

Cheers,

Peter
