lost sms messages sent from Netherlands to Australia

hi,

i live in the Netherlands but i message my partner in Australia a lot. around 3 weeks ago some messages started being lost. =( sometimes they just get delayed (sometimes by an hour or two), but mostly they just get lost. i still get charged for sending them, but they just don't get delivered =(

at other time i've noticed that my eqo credits are not always updated after i send an sms message. however this isn't related to whether the message is delivered or not. never the less, it's annoying since i can't be sure about precisely how much credit i've got left.

this is terribly annoying since people often wait for me to reply by sms and they naturally get annoyed at me thinking that i'm ignoring them when they haven't received a reply from me, but it's just that eqo has lost the message though still charged me for the privilege. =(

is anyone else experiencing a similar problem with lost sms messages and being charged for them?

Hello dr.colekat, Delivery

Hello dr.colekat,

Delivery of SMS message is an issue that has come up with some users. We are currently trying to look in to this issue. As for users that are experiencing this issue, we are trying to work with them separately to test and resolve this issue. I have sent you a message to see if you could work thorough this with us so we can see the exact nature of your problem and work to resolve it.

For other users that are experiencing similar issues, please contact support@eqo.com with the following.

1) Examples of messages sent and the result of sending it. (received, not received, missing text... any information helps)

2) A contact that you are running in to the problem with. If they will be willing to help assist us with some tests to pinpoint the issue.

3) If you experience cut off messages or they are not delivered, please try to keep track of when it was sent. This makes it quicker to track down.

Basically try to have as much information as possible to help us resolve your issue as quickly as possible.

Bekend probleem

Hoi dr.colecat,
Uitermate irritant. Ik heb dit overigens nog niet gemeld.

Dear Anthony, I do

Dear Anthony,
I do experience the same problems when sms-ing to Bulgaria. I had problems before and then were told to limit the text to 140 characters and this is what I do now. But today I send about 8 messages of which 2-3 didn't arrive again. The last one wasn't charged for sure and that was for me the trigger to verify the service again. Every now and then also the msg are delayed for hours. It is really a pitty that I can't trust EQO's SMS service. I wiss you all the best to solve these issues.
