It seems motorola W385 partially supports EQO..

Hi,

I have recently downloaded the eqo software on my mobile phone, but I am facing problems working with it.

The phone I have is not in the supported phone list. I understand, but it would be nice if I could get to use your wonderful service.

I have a Motorola W385 mobile phone which has a CDMA technology. It has java in it.

I had downloaded the "other" option in the supporting phones list for motorola. The software when run, first brings a black screen with two options "select" and "exit". then when "select" is pressed, the eqo connects to its network.

then list of country comes, but I choose "options" and then "back" to go to another page where I get "sign in". then I have to type "user id" and "password". i click on "user id" to get into a white page where I type it. then to press "ok" which brings a black screen with two options.. "select" and "options.
I cant do anything now.. coz the screen is black and watever i press just keeps this screen the same black.. even if i restart the entire application. I see the same black screen with the two options of " select" and "option".

Kindly help me and let me know why is the interface black? i tried to download couple of other supported phones software.. but all have same issues of black screen..

Once after playing a lot with the buttons, I could get to the "password" space and typed my password. Then it logged me into EQO. i was happy. I then tried to add contact, again this time i had to type nick name.. first name.. last name.. mobile number etc.. but as I go inside to type in nick name.. when I come out.. i see the same black screen with two options of " options" and "call". I then can't do anything with the software.. than to reinstall it.

Atleast i could reach as far to Log into the eqo. So i think with little more thought given, even this model phone can be added to your phone supported list. You may help me know what should i do now.. or which other s/w would work.

Waiting eagerly to use EQO soooooon.

regards.

Which version of Java does your phone have? EQO requires MIDP 2.0. If the W385 does not have this standard, then we can not support it.
