How to change your Internet Connection Settings (Nokia Series 60 3rd edition)
Submitted by peter on February 21, 2007 - 2:46pm.
Sometimes mobile phone carriers automatically set up your phone's access point to the Internet, and sometimes you have to do this manually. This is not a fun thing to do without instructions. Here are my instructions for the Nokia N95 (these steps can be easily adapted to most Nokia S60 2nd and 3rd edition phones): How to change your Internet Connection Settings (Nokia): 1)From the Menu screen select Tools. 1. Connection Name: EQO You are now all set to access the Internet with the access point EQO. When you launch EQO, make sure that you select the access point EQO. If you need more help, send me an e-mail at peter@eqo.com. (*If you don't know any of these details, don't worry, because no one does...except Ross Barkman...check out his fantastic Web page for carrier connection details worldwide: http://www.taniwha.org.uk/gprs.html) Peter Trackback URL for this post:http://community.eqo.com/trackback/782

how can I use my internet call?, when I connected and I use to call using EQO? re: internet callSubmitted by peter on November 28, 2007 - 2:56pm.
Hi, Right now we don't support Saudi Arabia for calling with EQO. Also, just so you know, EQO is not a pure internet call. You still need your local calling plan from your provider. Peter i forgotSubmitted by rhosie123 on December 11, 2007 - 10:16am.

My N95 keep connecting all the time, no error messages at all, but never gets connected, and that is new, I had been connected some days ago, I have used the SMS service to send SMS to UK without problems. I have been using wi fi and my APN is OK. I have tried the beta version but memory full error when I choose the APN, and I am at Cuba for a while, so not GPRS connection is available RE: not conectedSubmitted by chris on February 25, 2008 - 3:35pm.
We are slated to release the next Symbian version shortly. Version 1.2.1 should do away with the memory full error you are getting. Make sure you remove the previous version of EQO from your phone completely and download the new version into phone memory (definitely not memory card) from get.eqo.com/symbian on your mobile browser. If EQO was working before, it should start working again if you follow these steps. Chris I have nokia 3110c and thereSubmitted by gothic.romance on March 8, 2008 - 8:44am.
I have nokia 3110c and there is an option in configuration settings: "Preferred Access Point". Thats an automatic setting which gets selected whenever i put a sim, i cannot edit that mannually. And unfortunately it always selects a wap access point which is of no use for eqo. What should i do??? connection error 05Submitted by aligemini on March 8, 2008 - 3:04pm.

For those of you with Nokia phones getting connection error 05, please try this site from Nokia that automatically configures your phone with your carrier's connection settings: https://nokiags.wdsglobal.com/standard?siteLanguageId=118 You should be able to edit your default access point, or at least change to a newly created access point. The Nokia connection settings should set you straight, but if not, please tell me your carrier and we'll help you get setup manually.
