RE: How can I connect to different Jabber servers

If you enter your fully qualified jabber id (including "@host.com" or the like) and password you should be able to connect to the jabber server of your choice. Have you tried this?

I Try

I have tried but nothing happend
I have my own Jabber server and I need connection to it
but :(

RE: I Try

http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

Please try to connect to your jabber server using the GAIM client. GAIM is our interface to Jabber. If you can't connect through their client then there is nothing we can do for you.

I have

i have connected through GAIM it's OK

RE: I have

We've tested EQO Mobile with many open jabber servers, most notably from this list:

I'm not sure why EQO Mobile can't connect to your particular server. What is jabber id with your jabber server?

welcome

Re:

One of our Russian employees signed up for an account with your server and we could not login via EQO Mobile either. Are you sure that your server is purely jabber? We didn't seem to think it was.

It based on a Wildfire 3.1.1 server :)

Well there's your problem, we don't support that server type with EQO Mobile. Sorry.

re

And what do you support??

re

MSN, Yahoo!, AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, and Jabber.

We've tested many of these Jabber servers and we can use them with EQO Mobile:

How can I connect to different Jabber servers

I see a comment that full name including host name. Wjat is the username is an e-mail? How does that work? Also is there a way to give a different port number?

Thanks.

RE: How can I connect to different Jabber servers

The full name including host name should end up looking like an email address. For example, chris@jabber.com might be my jabber id. Sadly there is no way to give a different port number with EQO. I hope that helps.
