Blank Screen After Installing
Submitted by comm_archive on July 10, 2006 - 3:23pm.
Hi Chris, Thanks for replying. For some reason I cannot see how to reply to a forum post that has been replied to??!? Feelin like a newbie in more ways than one. OK, back to the issue: You are right, it wasn't a .tar. I was probably a .jar like you said and it did cause something to be downloaded. The Eqo app sits in the games&apps section of my phone. When I initialise it, the screen just goes blank and I have to cancel out of it to get back to the phone. Its just a blank screen. Note, out of the about 50 times ive tried it over the last 12 hours, just then when I cancelled out of it, or maybe suspended, I saw a brief flash of a yellow screen. Tried to repeat it but I can't. And when I "run in background" the java icon stays up for about 3-5 seconds before dissapearing. As for the JAVA setting on the phone: cldc v: 1.1 midp vers: 2.0 data space phone: 6500 free Heap Size: 1500 Im not near my mac at the moment but I remember that I didn't see any writing evident in relation to the icon in the dock of mac os-x. I can't remember whether I saw a mobile phone outline. I don't think I did unless it blends in well with the EQO icon. My eqo username is lenman74. Many Many Thanks I Can't wait to use this. At the bottom of the post, you should see something that says "reply". In any case, you can just post a new comment to keep the conversation in the same thread. No harm done. Anyway, you are definitely signed in on your computer, so says our logs. Actually, I think that the mouseover messages do not show up on the Mac, my fault there. It looks as though you have plenty of memory on your phone. The E1000 is also the same platform as the V3x and EQO runs fine on this phone. This still feels like a memory problem to me. Please erase EQO from your phone and install again. Go to www.eqo.com/a on your mobile browser and login to download EQO. If this still doesn't work, please login at www.eqo.com and click on "Change My Phone". Choose RAZR V3 as your phone and follow the steps to install EQO, after you've erased the old version of EQO again. I'm thinking that trying a smaller screen size program might minimize the memory requirements. Please try this and let me know how it goes. Chris |
