Just like you are used to with IM, a green bubble next to a name, indicates that this person is online. If someone is offline, send them an EQO Nudge – a free text asking them to get online.

EQO Traveler

Slash your roaming charges by up to 80%!

If you’ve ever used your mobile phone while traveling, you know how quickly ridiculously expensive mobile roaming charges can add up. That’s why we created our EQO Traveler, a new way of placing international calls while traveling that can save you up to 80% on mobile roaming charges!

You can use EQO Traveler to save money in one of two ways:

• Using your existing mobile: Simply select "Traveler Mode" from your EQO Settings menu. Mobile VoIP calls made using EQO will still be routed to your existing mobile number, but they will use inbound roaming minutes which are typically cheaper.


• Purchase a travel SIM: Purchase a prepaid local SIM and insert it into your unlocked phone. From the EQO Settings menu, choose "Traveler Mode", and edit the mobile number to that of your destination country’s prepaid SIM. Calls will now automatically be routed to this local number.

Sounds a little complicated, but the massive savings couldn’t be simpler.
