EQO Mobile: Now Supports Eight More Countries!

Our quest for world domination....I mean, our quest to paint the entire globe EQO-orange just got one step closer to becoming a reality. The list of supported countries has now hit 28 with the additionEQO-orange of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia. This leaves only 217 independent states, inhabited dependent territories, and areas of special sovereignty to be conquered...did I say conquered? I meant covered. Actually, I really meant freed. That's right; freed from the oppressive international calling rates charged by traditional carriers.

If we haven't made it to your country yet, don't worry we'll be there soon!

I could kiss you guys! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am off to spread the word, prepare for a lot of new users :)

this is awesome!

I have a popular music podcast. Would someone be willing to come on the show? www.syndicatedbeats.com 3-5 minutes max :-)

RE: this is awesome!

Hello kind sir, I do believe that one of us here would be quite willing to join you on your show. Please send us an email to info@eqo.com and we'll sort out the details.

Looking forward to it,

You guys are too late

Nice idea, but you're too late and too expensive.
Applications like iskoot (using skype) has lower rates and there are already a myriad of j2me applications that allow
you to send and receive SMS-type messages for free.

The new EQO service is going in the right direction (who's going to leave a server application running 24/7 on their PCs?!?), but at this price point, this isn't going to compete.

RE: You guys are too late

Good point, we'll just shut down the company and all go on vacation:) Actually, from looking at your logs it appears that you haven't even used our new service. I have used iSkoot and I find the user experience poor. EQO is easier to use and offers more, with no ties to Skype and quite similar rates. Maybe give the new EQO a try and then let us know what you really think?
