Submitted by chris on April 1, 2008 - 2:59pm.
I am also pleased to announce that Darla Mack won the EQO iPod Shuffle for filling out the Symbian Beta Survey. Congratulations Darla, I hope you enjoy your iPod! The Symbian Beta will still be available for download at the Symbian Beta page and we will still gladly accept all feedback coming our way, but the beta period is officially over. I hope you'll all try our next Symbian version! Please stay tuned. Chris Trackback URL for this post:http://community.eqo.com/trackback/1330
Bugs in Symbian beta?Submitted by chiragjv on June 10, 2008 - 10:49pm.
I have been using EQO regularly on my N82. There is one problem I have encountered quite often. When I start the application and try to make a call (state = Connected), the application just does not react. I can see all the options and navigate in the application. But call does not get dialled. Another problem is, when I talk for a longer duration (i.e >10 mins), a disturbance is encountered and the call ultimately terminates. This results in a user experience which is not so smooth as a non-EQO call. I know its little late to point these bugs, but I hope you have already found these ones and will be fixed in next release. Overall, EQO is a well implemented version of a much talked about idea. The service quality is quite close to that of operators'. re: Bugs in Symbian beta?Submitted by peter on June 11, 2008 - 1:39pm.
Hello, Thank you very much for your feedback on our Symbian application. The first issue is a known issue. Sometimes it may appear that you are online, when in fact, the connection has been lost. This is why the application must reconnect before you can do anything. we are working on fixing this bug. I have not noticed the second issue that you mention. It would be great if you could email me at peter@eqo.com the next time this happens to you so I can trace the call in our records and see what is causing this disturbance. Thanks again for your valuable input. Cheers, Peter |
