New EQO Mobile is here!

EQOThe new EQO Mobile is here with mobile VoIP support for 20 countries, mobile IM, and mobile messaging!  The EQO team worked ridiculously hard to bring you this latest offering, especially our Operations, QA, Dev, and Management teams!  There is some real dedication here at EQO and I hope it shows in our new application.

We've revamped the whole interface, removed Skype support in favor of our own VoIP network, and built a Blackberry native version of EQO Mobile too!  Please check out www.eqo.com to download and find out all of the nitty gritty details.  Peter and I have started writing some forum posts at http://community.eqo.com/forums in anticipation of some of your questions.  Please post anything else you'd like to know there and we'll get on the case.  Also, your feedback is most definitely appreciated, we really want to hear what you think for the sake of improvement!

Cheers,

Chris

connection

First of all, You guys know that I used over 200 hours to setup midlet manager on my qtek 9000, and now you do not support it.
I asked Peter for help 5 weeks ago, and I would realy had appriciated if he back then had tolled me, that you where not going to support it in the future.

Second, then I wanted to hug up my wifes Nokia 9300, and the program comes back and says to many digits, even that it is the right cell no. (I did not ad an other country code, witch by the way is Germany)

I am hoping that you will support all of us that has WM5 phones, before end of July.
Poul

RE: connection

I am sorry to hear that you went through so much to use EQO Mobile! We appreciate your efforts; we actually already had you marked down as our next beta tester of the month! Peter was sworn to secrecy, I hope you understand.

As for EQO Mobile on Windows Mobile phones, we are working on it and we'll be ready to release in about a month. And for your wife's Nokia 9300, try entering the mobile number without any non numeric characters at all. It should work, but let us know if it doesn't and we'll get you sorted out.

Nokia 9300

Will do.

I have 46 partners in 19 countries, living in Germany and my kind (25 and 27) is living in Denamrk.
This is why I want to go the distance, what ever it takes, because I am looking at a cost saving on 500 euro per month.

Nokia 9300

RE: Nokia 9300

Poul,

Let me personally apologize for not letting you know about our plans for Windows Mobile. We are still planning to support your phone, just be patient!

As for your wife, she should be able to sign up now. There was a bug in our system (that you helped to uncover) that didn't allow phone numbers that started with '1' to be added to our database. It is fixed now. Let me know if you encounter any other difficulties with our service.

Cheers,

Peter
